Agreement to Terms

By installing or using the SelfLabs Managed Discounts app ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

Description of Service

The App provides discount code management functionality for Shopify stores, including:

• Importing discount codes from CSV files
• Enforcing monthly usage limits on codes
• Tracking discount code usage
• Optionally linking codes to specific customers

Eligibility

To use the App, you must:

• Have an active Shopify store
• Have authority to bind yourself or your organization to these terms
• Be at least 18 years old

Your Responsibilities

Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account
• You must not share access credentials with unauthorized parties
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Proper Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent security measures
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Use the App in a way that could damage Shopify's systems
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

Data Accuracy

• You are responsible for the accuracy of data you import
• You must have the right to use any customer email addresses you import
• You must comply with applicable privacy laws when handling customer data

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

• The App and its original content are owned by Self Labs, LLC
• The App is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App

Your Data

• You retain ownership of your data
• You grant us a license to use your data solely to provide the App's services
• This license terminates when you uninstall the App

Fees and Payment

• The App may have free or paid plans
• Fees are charged through Shopify's billing system
• Shopify's payment terms apply to all charges
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

Disclaimers

"As Is" Provision

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• MERCHANTABILITY
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• NON-INFRINGEMENT

No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Defects will be corrected
• The App will meet your specific requirements

Shopify Dependency

• The App relies on Shopify's platform and APIs
• Changes to Shopify may affect App functionality
• We are not responsible for Shopify's actions or outages

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim
• This applies regardless of the theory of liability

Specific Exclusions

We are not liable for:

• Lost profits or revenue
• Lost data (beyond our reasonable control)
• Business interruption
• Third-party claims against you

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Self Labs, LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any data you import into the App

Termination

By You

• You may stop using the App at any time
• Uninstall through Shopify Admin to terminate

By Us

We may terminate or suspend access if you:

• Violate these terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Pose a security risk
• Are required by law

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App ends immediately
• Your data will be deleted within 48 hours
• Provisions that should survive (liability, indemnification) remain in effect

Changes to Terms

• We may modify these terms at any time
• Changes are effective when posted
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
• Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the issue informally for at least 30 days.

Arbitration

Any dispute not resolved informally shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.

Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class actions.

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Entire Agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Self Labs, LLC regarding the App.
